The final speaker was John Burton, chairman of the George Eliot Fellowship since 2006 and author of several books on local history.

John's talk focussed on the Bray intellectual circle in Coventry that influenced Mary Ann Evans. He also talked about Cara Bray, a member of the Hennell family. A recording of John's talk is available to view below.
