Programme

11:00am - Coach leaves Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre

12:45pm - Arrive at Ellastone (Hayslope in Adam Bede). It is recommended that people bring a packed lunch with them. Toilets are available at the village hall.

11:40am - Our guided walk starts and ends at St Peter's Church and lasts between 2.5 to 3 hours. Local tour guide Edward Barker will talk about 17 scenes from the novel that will be viewed during the walk and will read some short passages. At the end of the walk there will be a chance for tea and cake before we leave. 

5:15pm - Leave Ellastone

7:00pm - Arrive Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre

* For people wishing to make their own way to Ellastone there is a reduced ticket price of £15 for members and £20 for non members
